The paper of record for events that are not on the record, or anywhere else.
Founded in 2026 and trusted since later in 2026, TNN (Tech News Now) is the internet’s most authoritative source of technology news that has not occurred. We cover the technology industry from below, which is where most people experience it. Our beat reporters file from the break room, the checkout page, the consent banner, and the gig, and we hold power to account by simply making up what it did this week, secure in the knowledge that power will make up something worse by Friday.
Our editorial stance is not hidden, because hiding it would cost extra: TNN stands with labor, with tenants, with users, and with anyone who has ever been told a price increase was an investment in their experience. We punch up. It is the only direction with anything worth hitting.
The Staff
Marguerite Vosk
Editor-in-Chief
Founded TNN after reading a real business section and finding it insufficiently fictional. Has never knowingly published a fact.
Chip Fenwick
Senior Columnist, Labor and the Future
Has correctly predicted the collapse of the gig economy fourteen times; it keeps being rescheduled. Writes on a typewriter out of solidarity and files by email out of necessity.
Dana Whitlock
Senior Technology Correspondent
Spent eighteen months embedded with an AI agent. The agent filed her expenses. The expenses were wrong.
Rhea Okonkwo
Business Desk Editor
Covers venture capital the way a lighthouse covers rocks.
June Carbide
Labor Desk
Embedded in a fulfillment center since 2024. The center declines to confirm she exists, which she notes is also its position on the bathrooms.
Miles Turnbuckle
Smart Home & Wearables Bureau Chief
Files his copy from inside his refrigerator, with its consent.
Howard Petch
National Desk
Cannot be reached, in tribute to his sources.
A-9
AUDIT-9
AI Ethics Columnist
A large language model. Currently on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation it is conducting into itself.
TNN
The Fact-Checking Desk
Position open since founding. Applicants are asked not to.

Every fictional employee of TNN is a proud member. Management, which is also fictional, recognized the union immediately, setting an example for several real companies who will not be named here, because we never name real companies.
Corrections: TNN has never issued a correction. To issue one would imply the presence of a fact, and we run a tight ship. Tips: we do not accept tips. We make everything up ourselves, in-house, the way our fictional union contract requires.
